Darren Criss Could Replace Daniel Radcliffe in 'How to Succeed in Business'
Darren Criss was recently promoted to a 'Glee' series regular, but he may have another amazing job lined up for next year. The 24-year-old is reportedly in talks to replace Daniel Radcliffe as the lead in the Broadway musical 'How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.'
According to Deadline, if all goes as planned, the actor/singer will take on the role of J. Pierrepont Finch from January 3 through January 22. The three-week stint and two weeks of rehearsals would cause him to miss shooting an episode and a half of 'Glee,' though.
If the deal goes through, it'll be interesting to see the California native succeed the 'Harry Potter' star, especially since Darren first made a splash with 'A Very Potter Musical,' for which he wrote all the music and lyrics.
'How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying' has been a Broadway hit, grossing over a $1 million per week, thanks in part to Daniel. Darren has some big shoes to fill, but we think he'd be perfect for the job.
