Demi Lovato is set to make her live television debut of 'Skyscraper' at the 2011 Do Something Awards next month. This is also the 18-year-old's first public performance since leaving treatment for her bipolar and eating disorders.

Demi is not only a scheduled performer at event, but she's also a nominee. The singer is up for two awards, including one for her collabo with Joe Jonas on 'Make a Wave,' which benefits Disney's Friends for a Change project, and the Do Something TV Star award for her work with Clean and Clear and DoSomething's Join the Surge program.
The Do Something Awards "honor young people's commitment to social change," so it's no wonder why it tapped Demi to be a part of the big night. The show will be hosted by 'Glee' star Jane Lynch, and other performers include OneRepublic and B.o.B., among others.

You can check out Demi's big performance at the 2011 Do Something Awards on VH1 at 9 p.m. ET on Aug. 18. Set your DVRs!
