Jackson Harris made a name for himself with his oh-so-cool cover of 'Empire State of Mind,' and now the New York native is releasing a brand-new single called 'Go Crazy.'
"It was about this quote -- 'Forget 'The Real World,' I need reality' -- this idea of going back and forth from reality and the TV type of world we want to live in, combined this newfound yearning to everyone wanting to party and dance," he explains about the tune.
The song also pays homage to social networking, and is a jam for all ages, Jackson adds. "There's a little mention of Twitter and Facebook in there and social networks. It's a fun dance, rock, pop song, hopefully anybody from six to a hundred and six will enjoy it."
Jackson's debut EP, 'Long Story Short,' was released in November 2010 and the singer-songwriter is hard at work on his first full-length album, which he's hoping to unveil this year. In the meantime, the talented musician just finished filming the video for his new song, which will arrive later this month.
