Nat and Alex Wolff Open Up About Their New 'Thump Thump Thump' Video (Exclusive)
Nat and Alex Wolff have shed their Naked Brothers Band moniker and are returning to the music scene with their brand new album, 'Black Sheep,' due out this fall. But first, the boys are kicking things off by releasing a video for their lead single, 'Thump Thump Thump,' which stars Abigail Breslin.
The video depicts a new crush, and focuses on the budding relationship between Abigail and Alex. "We thought the song was about puppy love and we wanted to make it literal," the 13-year-old says of the video concept. "And ET, our French bulldog, has been bothering us for a starring role."
Abigail and Nat are set to star together in the upcoming movie 'New Year's Eve,' which is how the two got to know each other. "She loved the song and I thought it'd be fun to have her in the video," he says.
The brothers wrote every song and played all of the instruments on 'Black Sheep,' the first album the two-piece has recorded under their own names. "Our music has matured since the Naked Brothers Band and so we wanted to differentiate it," Nat explains. "And we've always toured live as Nat and Alex Wolff and we feel like more of a rock duo than before."
