The six talented sisters in Cimorelli have created a massive online following from the super amazing a cappella videos they've posted on YouTube, which we're sure you've seen. Most recently, the girls were recognized for their stunning cover of Demi Lovato's 'Skyscraper,' and now they've announced that they'll be releasing their debut album soon!

Christina, Katherine, Lisa, Amy, Lauren, and Dani are currently in the studio recording their first album for Universal, collaborating with the same songwriters and producers that have worked with the likes of Taylor Swift, Beyonce and Justin Bieber. The girls are musicians in their own right, writing their own songs and coming up with their own arrangements, too. Find out what the group has to say about their success and oh-so-bright future in our exclusive interview below.
JSYK: Hi, girls! So tell us -- when did you discover that all six of you were musically inclined?

Cimorelli: We've always loved music and started singing together for fun at a young age. Our mom is a musician, so music was a natural part of our family.

JSYK: You've covered everyone from Miley Cyrus to Bruno Mars. How do you choose the songs that you perform?

Cimorelli: We pick popular songs that we like that are appropriate.

JSYK: How do you decide who takes the lead vocals of each song?

Cimorelli: The leads are split up between the six of us on every song. Parts are assigned according to vocal range and lyrical age-appropriateness. For instance, Dani is 11, so certain lyrics may not make any sense for her to sing.

JSYK: What do you love most about Demi Lovato's 'Skyscraper'?

Cimorelli: Not only is it a beautiful song, it also has a great message of strength and self-empowerment.

JSYK: What can fans expect on your debut album? Will it include original material?

Cimorelli: The songs on our new album are originals that are upbeat, fun, high energy, with positive messages, and lots of emotion. And our signature vocal harmonies, of course.

JSYK: What do you hope to accomplish in the next year?

Cimorelli: The successful release of our new album and to start a tour. Now that we live in Southern California, surfing sounds fun, too.
