Seventeen magazine has put a reader on its cover for the very first time. Zoe Damacela was announced as the winner of the mag's "Pretty Amazing" contest, scoring the opportunity to be photographed for the cover of the October issue.

"I've been a fan of Seventeen magazine forever so when I heard about the 'Pretty Amazing' cover girl contest I decided to go for it," said Zoe Damacela. "Finding out I won was a dream come true. I can't wait to see my face on a cover of the magazine!"

In addition to being a Seventeen cover girl, Zoe received a $10,000 scholarship from Neutrogena, a huge prize for the inspiring 19-year-old, who overcame homelessness and went on to launch her own successful fashion line.

According to the magazine, the self-taught entrepreneur launched Zoe Damacela Apparel at age 14, and has since sold more than 300 one-of-a-kind pieces. She has appeared on Oprah's website, 'The Tyra Banks Show' and visited the White House to meet President Obama.
Yep, sounds like Zoe is, in fact, pretty amazing. Check out her Seventeen magazine cover and pick up your own copy when it arrives on newsstands in September.
