Cody Simpson recently teamed up with Defeat the Label, an anti-bullying movement, to make a very special announcement. The organization is launching Stand Up Against Bullying Day, which will take place on Friday, May 4, 2012.

Cody lent his talents for a free concert at the Somerset Collection Grand Court in Troy, Mich. on Sunday, where Defeat the Label announced its united movement. Stand Up Against Bullying Day is when teens and teachers will band together to show their dedication to promoting inclusive, judgment-free schools, where bullying is not tolerated.
The org is inviting schools and all anti-bullying organizations to come together and physically stand up against bullying on May 4 at 12PM ET. You can log onto Defeat the Label's website to nominate your school to join Stand Up Against Bullying Day, and those with the most student nominations will be eligible to win celebrity appearances, autographed swag and much more.

Wouldn't it be cool if Cody came to your school? We're not sure if that's in the cards, but the only way to find out is to register your school here. For more information on Stand Up Against Bullying Day, visit DefeatTheLabel.com.
