'Glee's' Kevin McHale Stars in New PSA for The Trevor Project
Kevin McHale is gearing up for the new season of 'Glee,' but he's also taking time out of his busy schedule for a good cause. The 23-year-old has teamed up with The Trevor Project to help launch its new "Talk to Me" campaign.
"'Talk to me,' it's what you say to someone to let them know you're there," Kevin says in the new PSA for the organization. "Just three simple words. But saying them out loud could help save a life."
The Trevor Project, which provides support for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender teens, has kicked off its new campaign, coinciding with National Suicide Prevention Week, September 4-10.
Kevin is not the only 'Glee' cast member to lend his support to The Trevor Project -- Darren Criss sang 'Teenage Dream' with Katy Perry at one of the organization's events, and Chris Colfer and Max Adler has also starred in the group's "It Gets Better" videos.
