Lily Halpern is busy working on her debut album, but on Friday, September 16, she'll be taking a break from the studio to support Clean & Clear and the United Nation Foundation's 'Girl Up' campaign when they kick off their Unite for Girls tour in New York City.
The event is aimed at educating American teens on how to raise awareness and funds to help fellow girls around the globe. Not only will Lily be attending the campaign kick-off, but she'll also be performing, too.
"I am honored to be involved in a program that supports giving girls the opportunity to inspire and lead the world," the singer says. "I will perform my new single, 'Colors,' as well as a song I wrote about female empowerment called 'Forget What They Say.'"
The Unite for Girls tour event will begin tomorrow at 4:30PM at the TimesCenter. For more information about the event, visit Facebook.com/cleanandclear.
