Mayday Parade is getting ready to release their self-titled third album on October 4, and now the guys are opening up about the writing process for their highly anticipated LP.
"It was nice to get away from everything and be able to focus on writing all the time," frontman Derek Sanders says. "At that point, we all had a lot of ideas that we had come up with and a lot of material that we kind of brought onto the table and picked the best ideas to start working on. We wrote 15 new songs and those are the ones we took to the studio to make down to the 12."
Just after the release of their new album, the band will kick off their The Noise Tour on October 13. We Are The In Crowd, There For Tomorrow, You Me At Six and The Make will support the group on their nationwide run.
