Set in the not so distant future, where robot boxing is a top sport, a struggling promoter (Jackman) feels he has found a champion in a discarded robot. During his rise to the top of the sport, he discovers he has an 11-year-old son (Goyo) who wants to know his father. According to the film's director, Shawn Levy, "(Real Steal) is as much about its heart as it is about its action." Jackman agrees, "It's a robot movie with a heart."

What makes Real Steel different than other robot movies is that the film actually uses real robots. The eight and a half foot tall remote control robots are what help to make the film so realistic, according to Levy.

On the carpet, we asked Hugh, Dakota and stars like Anthony Mackie, Kevin Durand, and Olga Fonda what they would do if they had a robot, their favorite robot of all time and why people should see the movie.

Real Steel hits theaters on October 7th.
