Fans of School Gyrls will undoubtedly remember its energetic member Mandy Rain, who left the girl group in 2010. Since then, she's been working on her debut solo EP, and we have a clip of her very first single, 'Boogie,' for you to check out.

The brand-new song will be released on Thursday, October 6, and Mandy couldn't be more stoked. "It's about having fun, dancing and going out with your friends," she tells JSYK exclusively. "It's feel-good song. I'm so excited to share it!"

The singer is working on a music video for the track, which she'll begin shooting in a couple of weeks. "It's not your typical dance video, either," she reveals. "I've got some tricks up my sleeve. I think people are going to be shocked and impressed, to be honest."
Check out a snippet of 'Boogie' below, and grab your copy of the song on Thursday. If you like what you hear, stay tuned. There's plenty more where that came from on Mandy's forthcoming EP. "You can expect to hear dance, pop, a couple ballads and something kinda new that's not quite out there yet," she adds. "I can't wait!"
