And the Nominees of the 2011 American Music Awards Are...

Nicki Minaj and Pitbull gathered at the J. W. Marriot in Los Angeles on Tuesday morning to reveal the nominees for the 2011 American Music Awards, which will see Pitbull and Katy Perry perform.

Adele leads this year with four nominations. Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Lil Wayne, Rihanna, Taylor Swift and The Band Perry follow with three nominations each, and Beyonce, Bruno Mars, Chris Brown, Jason Aldean, Kanye West, LMFAO, Nicki Minaj and Pitbull collected two nominations respectively. This year's 2011 Artist of the Year nominees are: Adele, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Lil Wayne and Taylor Swift.

As in past years, winners will be determined by fan voting. Fans will be able to vote at amavote.com in all categories including the New Artist of the Year Award.

The show will be broadcast live from the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live on Sunday, November 20 at 8pm on ABC. This year, ABC will air a live pre-show "Countdown to The American Music Awards" starting at 7:00pm ET/PT. In addition, the online pre-show "Coca-Cola Red Carpet LIVE! @ the 2011 AMAs" hosted by Lance Bass, Michael Buckley, Estelle, Sarah Hyland, Mitchel Musso, Josh Sussman and Xzibit will stream live for fans worldwide starting at 2pm PT / 5pm ET.
