Ryan Gosling is credited as being the inspiration for a guy who recently threw a hot dog at Tiger Woods during a golf tournament. The guy, Brandon Kelly, was arrested after the incident, but told a local paper that he was moved to action after seeing Ryan's performance in 'Drive.'
"As soon as the movie ended, I thought to myself, 'I have to do something courageous and epic," he said. "I have to throw a hot dog on the green in front of Tiger."
Not exactly what we would have thought of first, but... okay. Woods recalled the story for The Associated Press after the tournament was over.
"When I looked up, the hot dog was already in the air," Woods, who missed his putt because of the stunt, said. "Next thing I know, he laid on the ground, and looked like he wanted to be arrested because he put his hands behind his back and turned his head."
This story just keeps getting better, doesn't it? Check out the video below to watch the bizarre incident unfold.
Ryan seems to be the target of a lot of weird news stories lately. It came to light that he was suspended from elementary school for hurling steak knives at classmates and then last month, he found himself smack in the middle of a fight in the street in NYC that he broke up. It was captured on video and went viral, but he later admitted he kind of wished he'd kept out of it.
