'Paranormal Activity 3' Scares Up Huge Box Office Numbers
The third time's the charm! 'Paranormal Activity 3' has scared up big audiences in America, grossing a staggering $54 million in its opening weekend, $10 million more than 'Paranormal Activity 2.'
The critically-acclaimed horror film has ended 'Real Steel's' two-week run at the top of the U.S. box office. 'Paranormal Activity 3' also had the top launch of all time for a horror flick, as well as the best October debut ever.
Other new releases fared poorly - director Paul W.S. Anderson's 'The Three Musketeers' revamp and Rowan Atkinson's 'Johnny English Reborn' grossed $8.8 million and $3.8 million respectively.
