Mark Salling may play a tough guy on 'Glee,' but it looks like the Texas native is a real softy inside. The actor recently posted a video of himself releasing a rehabilitated mallard duck back into the wild.
"She needed a little help and now we're going to release her back, now that she's back to par so here we go ... the best part of it all," he says in the clip.
Sporting his signature Puck mohawk, the 29-year-old released the animal into the L.A. river. She was reportedly malnourished and exhausted from trying to fly while weak.
Mark has been on a charitable streak lately, becoming a spokesperson for ConAgra Foods' Child Hunger Ends Here campaign and lending a hand at Hollywood & Highland Center in August for a local food drive, so we're not surprised by this latest good deed.
