It is just a week full of great news for Kaley Cuoco! The "Big Bang Theory" star just announced her engagement this week and now she's been named the host of the 2012 People's Choice Awards!

This isn't Kaley's first hosting gig. She hosted the Teen Choice Awards this summer. "We are thrilled to welcome Kaley as the new host of the People's Choice Awards," said Executive Producer Mark Burnett. "She's been making people laugh on top-rated comedy series for the last decade, first with "8 Simple Rules" and now with "The Big Bang Theory," Thursday's #1 show. I'm looking forward to working with her on a fun-filled, comedy-packed show in January."

Kaley tweeted about her excitement, "I'm very excited and will do my best to make you giggle. And not change the channel."

We love Kaley on "Big Bang Theory" and we can't wait to see her host the PCA's. Voting is currently open in 41 categories and the show will take place January 11, 2012 at 9pm EST on CBS.
