Clarkson just released her album 'Stronger' but she was left horrified over the summer when she discovered dozens of unreleased songs had been uploaded to the web. She later confessed the violation was more harrowing for her than when she was physically robbed - but Clarkson insists the drama had the most impact on the songwriters behind the tunes.
She tells BBC's Newsbeat, "A lot of people who I write with, that's their livelihood. The tracks leak and people hear my voice on it, it's really hard to get another artist to cut a song that another artist has been heard singing.
"We've got a couple of the people who were responsible for some of it. You can find everybody and we did. I'm angry for the other writers because it rips that opportunity away from them.
"I'm glad people want to hear music from me, that's great, but it's really the songs which weren't meant to be out there that really takes away from people's livelihood. That's how they make their money.
"Not so much me, I make money in different areas. Having something stolen from you is not the best thing in the world."
If you haven't checked out 'Stronger' yet, we highly recommend it. What's your favorite song from the album?
