Following the premiere of each short film, we will air exclusive behind-the-scenes footage and have live video chats and with Producer Christine Vachon (Boys Don't Cry, One Hour Photo and Far From Heaven) and the short's filmmaker. Through the live chat, fans are invited to participate in the conversation about the revival of short films on the internet and ask Christine Vachon and the shorts' director questions about their newly premiered film.
Killer Films' Christine Vachon says, "I began my career making short films, so, to be able to revisit that genre, and help develop the skills of talented, young short filmmakers, is full circle for me. And, unlike when I started, the internet will allow millions to enjoy and experience these films."
So have any of the stars thought about what kind of film they're going to make? Troian told Variety that she's been working on three ideas and she's very excited to work with Christine. "This is great for me because I'm such a fan of Christine's work and I'm not really very good at sitting around on a set."
Kellan is also working on ideas and said, "I want it to be original, and creative, but with a twist. Short films are tricky because you don't have time to develop the characters, so the plot has to grab people's attention fast."
Kellan has never directed but is looking forward to it. "Having worked with and observed so many talented directors, I've put a lot of pressure on myself, but I'm really just looking at this as an opportunity to see if I enjoy it and would want to one day direct feature-length films."
We can't wait to see these short films and share them with you! Stay tuned to Cambio for more.
