The singer handpicked co-star Rafi Gavron for the role of her boyfriend after seeing him in 'Nick & Norah's Infinite Playlist.' "In choosing our leading man, I wanted it to be someone that was genuinely a rough-around-the-edges kinda guy," she told Celebuzz. "Manicured 'pretty boys' needed NOT apply."
In the clip, JoJo is dating a motorcycle-riding dude, who goes from sweet to sour fast, so it was important for the pop star to find the right fit. "[Rafi] embodied the edge and rugged sexiness that I wanted my guy to have," she added. "I wanted him to feel a bit like a bad boy from Boston, and although Rafi is from the UK, he pulled it off perfectly."
