Chanel's New 'Jersey' Scent Snooki Inspired?
Has Snooki grabbed the attention of the fashion elite including Karl Lagerfeld? Eyebrows raised a couple days ago when Chanel announced the name of their newest fragrance, 'Jersey.' While it's unclear if the perfume was named for anyone in the 'Jersey Shore' cast, it's likely it is indeed named after the state... unless Mr. Lagerfeld was inspired by the fabric. Snooki and crew probably had a little something to do with it, but the inspiration could have just as easily come from the classy ladies of 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey.' Another indication it is not Snooki-centric, 'Jersey' is described by Chanel as "a tender trail of vanilla and musk" and does not list pickles as a top note.
Meanwhile, Snooki is busy promoting her own fragrance, Snooki by Snooki Polizzi, which has a slightly more eye-catching bottle complete with rhinestones in a heart shape and a pink and purple leopard print on the bottle. She filmed a Funny Or Die video that makes fun of super-serious fragrance commercials often employed by Chanel or Dior.
