Don't they have Christmas in Australia? We talked to Cody Simpson at the Hollywood Christmas Parade and found that the teen heartthrob knows a lot about holiday giving, but not so much about holiday carols! Cody performed his new single, 'On My Mind' at the Hollywood Christmas Parade at Universal Citywalk. He confessed that he was also asked to sing a Christmas song, but he didn't know any. Cody ended up learning his song a day before the event; he performed a classic song from a heartthrob of another generation - Elvis Presley's 'Blue Christmas'.
Cody also reminisced about his favorite Christmas memories. For Cody, Christmas is all about family: he usually sees tons of cousins, aunts, uncles and grandparents for the holiday. He spent a lot of Christmases on the beach since the holiday falls during the heat of Australia's summer. Giving back is another important part of the season for Cody, so he encourages everyone to get involved in any charity work they can. Cody is currently focusing his charitable efforts on an anti-bullying campaign.
