Although he's since cleaned up his bad attitude, America decided that it was time for Astro, the 15-year-old rap phenom, to go home. This time, he was gracious. "I loved my time [here]," he said upon being eliminated. "I gained a lot of fans. Team L.A. Reid, it ain't over."
Drew was on the chopping block with Marcus Canty for receiving the next fewest votes. However, the teary Arizona native's "song for survival" wasn't enough to get her through. Judge Nicole Scherzinger cast the tie-breaking vote, and sent the 14-year-old packing.
That leaves the final five: Marcus, Melanie Amaro, Rachel Crow, Josh Krajcik and Chris Rene. Next week, the remaining contestants will have to duke it out, singing two songs each to survive.
What do you think about the double elimination? Did Astro and Drew deserve to go home? Who has the best chance of winning out of the Top 5? Let us know your thoughts in the comments. The next episode of 'The X Factor' airs on Wednesday, December 7 at 8PM on FOX.
