Alloy Entertainment, the folks that have brought you the TV versions of book series including The Vampire Diaries, Gossip Girl, Pretty Little Liars and more released a new title today with publishers Razorbill, an imprint of Penguin, titled The Probability of Miracles.

The book, written by Wendy Wunder, revolves around Cam, a terminally-ill 17-year-old who moves to Promise, Maine with her family in hopes of a miracle cure for her cancer. There she meets a boy, Asher, and also goes about fulfilling a checklist of items to accomplish before she dies.

Sounds interesting, right?

We're excited to read any book right now that isn't dystopian (The Hunger Games, Divergent, Delirium, Mortal Instruments) or involves mythical creatures (Twilight, Shiver, Beautiful Creatures, Wings). Not that we don't love those genres, we just welcome some diversity, although there may be a supernatural element to Promise, Maine.

Check out the book trailer below. To learn more about the book, visit the official book site where you can even read the first five chapters for free online. What books are you reading right now?
