'The Secret Life of an American Teenager' actress Megan Park is teaming up with peta2 for a new anti-fur PSA and ad campaign, which also stars her own dog, Tyson.

"The way that they get fur is awful and it's horrible and I think that people just don't want to think about it," she says in the exclusive peta2 interview. "[T]hey become selfish and they become superficial and they just want to look a certain way. ... These animals are skinned alive and kept in small little cages. ... [T]here's no reason for it."

Megan is very vocal about animal protection. According to a peta2 press release, the 25-year-old houses several rescue animals, and is an activist against the annual Canadian seal slaughter.

The 'Secret Life' star is now among a long list of celebrities who have joined forces with the animal rights organization, including Booboo Stewart, Christian Serratos, Angela Simmons, The Ready Set and more. Check out Megan's new PSA below.
