According to Ad Age, Fremantle Media Enterprises, the company that owns the franchise, intentionally decided not to use the 'American Idol' name for the collection.
"We're working to make sure it lives independently from 'American Idol,'" said David Luner, Executive Vice President of Consumer Products and Interactive.
However, fans of the hit singing competition series will be seeing the looks on the show this season. Want to get your hands on some of the gear? Make sure to hit Kohl's stores or Kohls.com, beginning on April 20, but hurry -- the apparel will only be available for six weeks.
