Katy Perry Puts Her Dukes Up in New 'Part of Me' Video

Katy Perry is ready for combat in her new 'Part of Me' video -- literally. After a major breakup, the singer enlists in the Marines and goes through basic training.

We're used to seeing the pop star in candy-colored ensembles, but this time she's trading her cupcake skirts for fatigues. The 27-year-old finds out her guy isn't so faithful, and ends up cutting off all her hair and enduring tough physical challenges while she sings:

"This is the part of me that you're never gonna ever take away from me, no / This is the part of me that you're never gonna ever take away from me, no / Throw your sticks and stones / Throw your bombs and your blows / But you're not gonna break my soul."
