The Washington Post talks Big Time Rush, One Direction and the Wanted in a new article that discusses the return of boy bands.

Boy bands seem to historically have a resurgence every decade, with New Kids on the Block and New Edition dominating the 80s, Backstreet Boys and 'N Sync claiming the '90s and early '00s, and now there are new boys burning up the charts.

Keith Caulfield, Billboard's associate director of charts, says "It's such a good environment for this kind of act in pop music right now."
