Carly Rae Jepsen made her U.S. TV debut on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, joined by Justin Bieber!

Wow, to say Carly Rae's star is on the rise is no understatement.

Carly Rae and Justin spoke with Ellen about how he discovered her, plus he shared a sneak peek of his new single, 'Boyfriend.'

Bieber signed Jepsen on his Schoolboy Records label, which Carly Rae described: "I had been signed in Canada to 604 Records. I had never branched outside of Canada and had no idea how to do that, and then one miraculous day Justin called."

Can you even imagine?!?

Ellen joked, "You know how that happens. Sometimes Justin just calls. That's really exciting. It just changed your life."

"It did," Carly Rae shared, adding, "At the time, I was touring in Canada in a soccer mom van with my band and it seemed too good to be true."

Carly Rae Jepsen also sang her hit single, 'Call Me Maybe' for the first time on U.S. TV.

Earlier in the month, Justin tweeted: "I think @theellenshow should have @carlyraejepsen perform. that would be good."

It's always good to have Justin Bieber in your corner!

He tweeted yesterday: "Heading to @theellenshow today with @carlyraejepsen for her performance. also gonna bring a clip of #BOYFRIEND - watch and listen tomorrow."

Carly Rae shared her nerves with fans on Twitter: "Driving to the studio @TheEllenShow Pumped. Nervous. Excited. Feeling all the good things."

Afterwards, she tweeted: "Meeting Ellen was a dream come true. She has the bluest eyes! @TheEllenShow thanks for having me. It airs TMR"

Carly Rae came in third on Canadian Idol in 2007. So, you never know, Idol finalists - maybe you'll get a call from Justin Bieber one day too!

No doubt you've seen Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Ashley Tisdale and friends do their own 'Call Me Maybe' video, but here it is again - because seriously, it never gets old.

And, if you haven't checked out Carly Rae Jepsen's Tumblr, do it! Fans submit their 'Call Me Maybe' videos and some of them are really great.

Both Justin and Carly were in attendance at this year's Wango Tango:
