Someone must start a campaign to make Matt Bomer a 'Glee' series regular - he's so dreamy, plus such a good singer!
On Glee's upcoming new episode, called "Big Brother," Matt Bomer guest stars as Blaine's (Darren Criss) brother Cooper.
Everything about this is so right. Matt and Darren have a similar look and sound so good together (they'll also sing a mash-up of Duran Duran songs).
Of course, it's not all happy times when Blaine's brother returns - there's some brotherly rivalry going on, as Bomer explained to The Hollywood Reporter: "He feels a sense of responsibility as an older brother to look out for his younger brother. He wants to help usher him in to that success in the best way he knows how."
Matt's character is an actor whose claim to fame is a free credit rating commercial, so he wants to help his brother avoid some of the "flames and arrows of the business that he's had to endure," he tells THR.
Matt dished on how he got the role and the Gotye song, telling TVLine:
"I had heard the Gotye song ["Somebody That I Used to know"] and I asked [series co-creator] Ryan [Murphy] if he ever thought of using that as a duet on the show. And he said he had. And then a week later I got a text from him asking me if I wanted to come on the show to sing it. And I said, 'Absolutely!'"
Glee returns with new episodes starting on April 10 and the promo below promises 8 new episodes.
Also, Jonathan Groff is set to return to 'Glee' as Jesse St. James - he recently confirmed, "Yes, I just finished filming a new episode" and that he'll "be going back and forth to shoot more."
