Waiting for Lightning is a documentary film about skateboarding legend Danny Way. It delves into his life story and the progression of the sport that he continues to challenge in ways no other skateboarder ever has. The film documents Danny's world record breaking feat of his jump over the Great Wall of China.

Cambio attended the Los Angeles premiere, which Audrina Patridge, Rob Dyrdek, Alexander Ludwig, Jason Lee, Steve-O, Ryan Sheckler, and many others attended. This documentary is an awesome new way to see Extreme Sports, and what it really takes to become an extreme athlete.

Danny has been in the skateboarding world for about twenty years now, and is undoubtably one of the most talented and bold skateboarders out there. The man seems fearless and never lets a few bruises, or broken bones, stop him from continuing his career. But what keeps him going? And how does he never feel that maybe this might be his last jump?

We spoke with all the stars above and they had nothing but love to send to Danny regarding the movie. Ryan Sheckler and Rob Dyrdek both shared stories on how Danny has influenced their careers, and Steve-O recalled some old stories from when the two first met. Everyone on the carpet was so psyched for the evening, and we loved the casual skater styles we saw – nothing but hoodies.

Whether you skate or not, Danny's story and influence on the skateboard community and people around him is certainly one to admire! Check out your local movie listings for a release date in your city,
