Watch Tupac at Coachella 2012 in this video of his hologram performance! Coachella attendees got the surprise of a lifetime when Tupac Shakur seemed to rise from the dead for a stage performance.

Watch Tupac at Coachella 2012 in the video clip - it was one of the most talked about moments from the festival!

Well, it wasn't really Tupac, of course. And it wasn't an impersonator either.

It was a hologram of the late rap star that had the crowd buzzing.

Comments about the Tupac hologram ranged from creepy to cool, as the image was projected onto the stage to join Snoop Dogg for "Hail Mary" and "2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted."

Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg closed out Sunday night with a pretty stellar lineup of guest stars - with Eminem, 50 Cent, Warren G, Wiz Khalifa (and yes, Tupac) all joining the stage.

Hollywood Reporter rounded up some of the Twitter reactions to Tupac's "appearance:"

@KirillWasHere tweeted: "Next year Coachella should just have a HOLOGRAM TENT featuring all the acts that we wish we got to see live..."

@Swagstro tweeted: "I wonder how many rappers retired from seeing the Tupac hologram on COACHELLA."

Among those comments from concert goers who thought the Tupac hologram was creepy, @molly_knight tweeted: "Was completely freaked out by the Tupac hologram and I'm fairly certain I was one of five people out of 100,000 not on drugs."

The Los Angeles Times notes that the Tupac hologram was "unnecessary and ill advised," but we're willing to be most fans loved it.
