Confirmed! Britney Spears and Demi Lovato to Be X Factor Judges

Demi Lovato and Britney Spears have been confirmed as X Factor judges, E! News reports.

While Demi and Britney had been rumored to be joining the X Factor panel, nothing had yet been agreed upon.

Britney was reportedly very close to signing the deal, while gossip about Demi and Miley Cyrus being X Factor judges swirled yesterday.

E! reports, "Both have offers in place and have agreed to the terms."

There's still that pesky matter of getting their signatures, however.

Of course, since Miley's name was thrown into the mix, many are wondering if she might take over hosting duties for X Factor.

Yesterday, new rumors surfaced that Simon Cowell was courting Gwen Stefani for the hosting gig, with the New York Post noting that a source confirmed that Gwen "has been contacted and is interested."

According to the source, "[Simon] is feeling the pressure and knows only a big-time, well-respected name will do if he wants anyone to flip the channel from The Voice."
