Met Gala 2012 Best and Worst Dressed: Beyonce, Lea Michele, Emma Stone and More!

Lea Michele was among the best dressed at the 2012 Met Gala. The Met Gala 2012 featured some definite fashion wins... and a few misses.

The Met Costume ball is often compared to the Oscars, and with good reason--the red carpet fashion is definitely worth a look.

2012 Met Gala best dressed list:

Beyonce was really the talk of the Met Ball, wearing a gorgeous lacy Givenchy Couture see-through dress that showed off her amazing post-baby body.

Rihanna kept things pretty low-key with an interesting black alligator textured Tom Ford dress and minimal makeup.

Scarlett Johansson looked gorgeous in a Dolce & Gabbana golden embellished bodice gown, with tousled hair and natural makeup.

Lea Michele shimmered in a low neckline navy Diane Von Furstenberg gown with a revealing slit.

Other stand-outs included Emma Stone's fun and flirty short Lanvin red dress, seen in the video above.

2012 Met Gala worst dressed list:

Kristen Stewart went with a color blocked dress that didn't make much sense. We would have liked to have seen Kristen glam it up a bit.

Florence Welch wore an interesting Alexander McQueen gown that featured a many-layered look.

Sarah Jessica Parker's floral Valentino dress really didn't do her any favors. There wasn't anything beautiful about the styling, and instead, she came off a bit frumpy.

Elizabeth Banks had perhaps the most bizarre mish-mash of a dress by Mary Katrantazou, with patterns galore. Effie Trinket-inspired, perhaps?
