Will Smith: "My Kids for Sure Think Parents Just Don't Understand"

Do Will's kids identify with the lyrics of Parents Just Don't Understand? During Will Smith's sit-down with Cambio about the highly anticipated Men in Black 3, we checked in to see how his famous rap lyrics apply to his life as a parent.

Of course, we're talking about Parents Just Don't Understand, that ode to clueless parents who just "don't get it."

Do Will's own kids think that he and Jada don't understand?

The Smith's are one of many celebrity families that we love:

He's asked, "Now that you're a parent, do you still agree that parents just don't understand?"

Will replies, "Listen, my kids for sure think parents just don't understand... that's a joke at our house... Jaden does that to me all the time."

That's got to be a tough one to live down, now that he's on the other side of the parenting equation.

He sums it up well when he explains, "You know, but what I realized is parents don't have to understand...because they're in charge."

Ah, with age comes wisdom.
