Ever the jokesters, One Direction claims one of their band members has insured his butt.
Granted, it's been done before (Jennifer Lopez famously insured her back end and Mariah Carey and Rihanna both have insured legs), but given their tendency to be a bit pranky, we're betting 1D is fibbing just a bit.
Harry Styles tells the Daily Star that his bandmate Louis Tomlinson insured his butt for £100,000 (about $162,000 U.S. dollars).
Styles dished, "Louis has insured his bum just like J. Lo. We support him and so does his family."
Given the rather low dollar value on his bum, we're pretty confident this is a joke, though Louis commented, "Some would call our fans crazy, but we feel they are passionate. They do like to touch us and feel us, and it is a bit strange. Some of the lads have been touched in some unusual places."
He added, "Our bodyguards can only do so much. No-one has sustained any injuries yet, but you never can be too careful."
Um... kidding, right?
