JLo told Ellen DeGeneres earlier this week that it may be time for her to move on from Idol, explaining, "Now this is my second year--I don't know if I can go for a third year. I miss doing other things. It really does lock you down, which was nice the first year with the babies being three, but now they're getting more mobile, they're about to go into school... so I just don't know."
E!, however, says that a source squeals that Jennifer is definitely leaving Idol to focus on acting and music, as well as raising her adorable twins.
"She's just too busy," the source said.
Of course, at the end of her first season of Idol, Jennifer said she was "on the fence" about her return. A bump in her pay seemed to do the trick and she was back on the judges panel again.
AI executive producer Nigel Lythgoe tells TMZ.com, "We want her back."
UPDATE! Jennifer Lopez took to Twitter to set the record straight about leaving American Idol--turns out she just hasn't made a decision yet: "There is no truth to reports that say I am definitely leaving Idol. All I said was I haven't decided what I am doing next year. When I know for sure what I'm doing I will let the #LOVE!RS know"
