Ariel admits that she's not only an actress, she sings too. She's recently landed an awesome music opportunity and will record in New York this summer while Modern Family is on hiatus.
In addition to working on her music, Ariel also plans to hit the beach this summer.
"I'm definitely going to be going to the beach and having fun with my friends. You know, having pool parties...It's really nice to be on hiatus. It's a lot of fun to have a hiatus where you can actually spend time with your friends," she said.
Her summer fashion must-haves are a bathing suit and flip flops...of course!
Since the young star is on break from taping her TV show, she decided she was due for a new hair color too.
Ariel's a natural blond but her Modern Family character Alex Dunphy, is a brunette. She wanted something different so she decided to go red, which totally fits.
"My name's Ariel, I could be The Little Mermaid," she joked.
