Left with a shocking Finchel cliffhanger (mind=blown), Gleeks have to wait until next season to find out the fate of these lovebirds.
Plus, what's in store for Santana in NYC? What will Kurt do? What's next for Finn?
And, of course, what about the remaining McKinley High glee club members?
Ah, so many questions... but luckily, Glee creator Ryan Murphy has some answers. Some Glee spoilers ahead...
In an interview with Vulture, Ryan dishes on what's to come for Glee season 4, noting, "We did not want to repeat the formula we've done. The show will be very different, but I think very satisfying."
Ryan also explains, "I will say the story for season four gets back to the underdog status [for the characters] and that will appease people, maybe."
Glee will be "pop-culture-based" in season 4, with Ryan explaining, "We're doing a great tribute right off the bat, another Britney Spears episode. Many of the characters will be starting over as underdogs, which is a good thing for the show."
He confirmed that all of the cast will be returning to the fourth season, even the graduates, though he does explain, "Anybody who was a regular is coming back. Everyone said yes. That doesn't mean everyone will be doing 22 episodes, but everybody wants to stay in our family, in our world."
Ryan promises that "the show next year will have less characters than we've ever had and I think that's a good thing."
Do you agree?
