Hunger Games 'Catching Fire' Casting for Finnick: Narrowed Down to Three?
Check out the latest Catching Fire casting rumors for Finnick and Johanna.
Who will be cast as Finnick Odair in The Hunger Games sequel, Catching Fire?
That seems to be the million dollar movie casting question these days!
Rumors of Robert Pattinson taking on the role of Finnick were quickly shot down (heck, even Rob himself had to call his agent to confirm).
E! Online's Mark Malkin has the inside scoop on three finalists for the role and we'd love to get your opinion.
Who makes the best Finnick?
A source tells E! Online that the casting is down to a final three--Armie Hammer, Taylor Kitsch and Garrett Hedlund--and that a final studio decision could be announced this week!
Armie starred in The Social Network, played opposite Julia Roberts in Mirror Mirror, and will be seen as the Lone Ranger in the upcoming film starring Johnny Depp. Plus, he's got the rugged good looks to pull off Finnick pretty well.
Taylor shot to fame in Friday Night Lights, hunked it up for John Carter, and is currently starring in Battleship. Also, he's totally hot, but are you getting a Finnick vibe?
Last, Garrett, who starred in Tron: Legacy and On the Road with Kristen Stewart and Kirsten Dunst, definitely is a contender (note, also a good looking guy). Finnick though? Meh.
From what we've gathered informally among comments online, most are favoring Armie to play Finnick.
Another source tells E! that they may go with a complete unknown for the role, so we'll see how it shakes out.
In other Catching Fire casting rumors--Glee's Dianna Agron is being buzzed about for the role of Johanna. We're not so sure about that one...
Catching Fire lands in theaters on November 22, 2013.
