It's not a rumor either, folks, as Miley and Liam's reps both confirm the engagement news to People.com.
Miley tells People, "I'm so happy to be engaged and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam."

You may recall that Miley and Liam met when they costarred in The Last Song in 2009.
They were engaged on May 31 and Miley is now the proud owner of a 3.5 carat diamond engagement ring.
Not too shabby!
Miley tweeted this morning: "life is beautiful"
