'The Great Gatsby:' Callan McAuliffe Doesn't Think He Looks Like Leo (EXCLUSIVE!)

Check out our interview with him here! Callan McAuliffe was quick to remind us that he wasn't playing a young Leonardo DiCaprio, but a young Jay Gatsby in the upcoming flick The Great Gatsby.

While flattered that anyone would think he resembled the hunky, heartthrob Leo, Callan humbly disagreed but said that he hopes that maybe as he ages he will resemble the actor.

He also admitted that every day before shooting the flick he would have to put in blue contacts, and he had to die his hair blond for the role as well.

This 17-year-old was so casual with us...is he ready for the madness this movie is going to create?!

"I've never really been on something this scale before," says Callan. "So it's going to be pretty exciting!"

And with "The Great Gatsby" topping everyone's fav books list, we had to know if Callan liked it in school...

"Not at first. When my teacher forced me to read it, I was not a fan."

Callan might look familiar to you, as he starred beside Alex Pettyfer and Dianna Agron in I Am Number Four.

Check out Callan, Leo, Carrie Mulligan, and the rest of the cast when the movie hits theaters on Christmas Day!
