'Awkward' Star Ashley Rickards Reveals Her Eye Shadow Pet Peeve

If Ashley Rickards had been just a little bit taller, she may never ever have even auditioned for Awkward! "I love photo shoots," she revealed while shooting a hair accessory story for Seventeen magazine. "If I had been six inches taller, I would have been a model!" But, can you really imagine anyone else as Jenna Hamilton?

Now a pro on the red carpet, Ashley also shared some of the best make-up secrets she's picked up along the way. "When wearing bold lip color, you need to make sure you don't play everything else up dramatically," says Ashley. "And in my opinion, it's really tacky to match your eye shadow to your outfit!"

And Awkward fans, get ready because when season two returns to MTV on June 28, you won't believe the crazy twists and turns ahead. "The things that happen this season are going to blow everyone's mind," Ashley promises. "When I read the scripts I'm just like, hashtag OMFG!"
