A 'Glee' and 'Archie' Comic Book Crossover is Coming!

The worlds of McKinley and Riverdale High Schools are about to collide! Two of the most iconic groups of teens in pop culture are about to come together. The New Directions of Glee are going to get a comic book makeover in an upcoming edition of Archie!

The four issue story won't be out until later this year or even early 2013--but we can promise you that it's worth the wait. Glee writer and Archie comic super fan Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa is the writer on the comic.

Roberto wrote the acclaimed Glee episode "The First Time" where Kurt and Rachel both lost their virginity as well as "On My Way," the emotional episode where Kurt's bully Dave Karofsky almost committed suicide.

Roberto is not only deeply familiar with the Glee characters but he also is such a big fan of Archie and the gang that he even dressed up as Archie for Halloween! In fact, that's how this gig came about. Roberto met Archie Comics Co-chief executive, Jon Goldwater at Comic-Con last year and the rest, as they say, is history.

Right now, the plot is top secret but promises to have "parallel dimensions, dancing and some serious singing, too."

We can't wait--what about you?
