There have been TONS of AI celeb judge rumors since Steven Tyler and Jennifer Lopez both called it quits. First it was Miley Cyrus then Nick Jonas, now TMZ is reporting that rapper Nicki Minaj has signed or is close to signing a judging deal with the hit show.
One person who isn't too fond of Nicki being on the show, is divalicious Mariah Carey.
TMZ is also reporting that Mariah hung up the phone whenever AI peeps told her Nicki would be a judge with her and Randy. Why the tantrum? She was told she'd be the only female judge and doesn't want to stray away from that at all.
She's not the only one who is upset about Nicki joining American Idol, many fans are also wondering if Nicki has been in the business long enough to coach hopefuls.
Mariah tweeted that she'd like to see her friend and rocker Lenny Kravitz get the job!
It's also being reported that Kanye West could be a new American Idol judge too.
