Katy Perry was apparently dumped by John Mayer a few weeks ago via e-mail (LAME!) but it doesn't seem to be holding her back too much...
US Weekly is reporting that while out for dinner in Los Angeles with friends, Katy got very cozy and close with Twilight's Robert Pattinson. This isn't the first report about Katy and Rob, there were rumors the two of them were talking and getting close a few weeks ago after he turned to her for comfort...read about that here!
Katy and R-Patz have been friends for years (they were even seen hanging out with Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez!) but there have been rumors that Katy would totally love to date Robert. Seriously, who wouldn't?! But because there hasn't been an official split between Rob and Kristen Stewart, she's backing off.
Miss Perry isn't the only pop star trying to get her claws into Rob, Rihanna has been too!
