A look back at how she went from good girl TV star to maybe facing jail time! It's hard to remember but there really was a time when Amanda Bynes was a great role model. She was funny, bright and charming and one of the stand out stars on Nickelodeon's sketch comedy show All That from 1996-2002.
Seriously, her fans loved her impeccable comedic timing and ability to poke fun at herself so much that she was snapped up by the WB to star in her very own sitcom called What I Like About You.
The show was a hit while it was on the air--and even nabbed Amanda starring roles in movies like What a Girl Wants and She's the Man.
But then she seemed to take a little break from the spotlight. The last movie we saw her in was 2010's Easy A.
And Amanda really did want to make that break official, even tweeting she was retiring at age 24 in July of 2010.
Then she quickly took that back and said she wasn't giving up Hollywood after all. And that's when things started going downhill with drinking, driving and lots of car accidents. Here's a quick look:
April 6th, 2012: Amanda was arrested for a DUI after colliding with a police car.
April 13th, 2012: One week later and she's caught texting and driving--and backs over a curb while on her way to a nightclub in LA.
May 5th, 2012: A new month, a new car accident. This time a hit and run. Amanda sideswiped a pick-up truck with her black Range Rover in Los Angeles and kept on going.
June 5th, 2012: Amanda is officially charged with the DUI from April and swears she doesn't drink, going as far as Tweeting to President Obama and asking him to fire the cop who arrested her.
August 4th, 2012: A woman claims Amanda rear-ended her (in a BMW) and drove off without exchanging information.
September 5th, 2012: Amanda is officially charged with two counts of hit-and-run relating to the incidents in April and August--and faces up to one year in jail. No shock, her license gets suspended.
September 9th, 2012: No shock, Amanda ignores authorities and is seen out driving--and gets pulled over by the police for not having her headlights on. Luckily for her, they do not ask to see her license.
September 11, 2012: What suspended license? Amanda is spotted by TMZ out on the road driving for hours and smoking something out of a pipe! WHAT!?
September 13th, 2012: A judge officially orders Amanda to put the keys away--she may not drive anymore!
Wow. Are you surprised by the path that Amanda has gone down? Did you ever think this "good girl" would get into so much trouble?
