Miley Cyrus: Did Liam Hemsworth Ask for Her Dad's Approval Before Proposing?

Every guy knows you should ask your girl's father for permission before proposing to her. So did Liam Hemsworth do that before he asked Miley Cyrus the big question?

In a recent interview with People Magazine, Miley's dad, Billy Rae Cyrus, told the publication that Liam did the right thing and talked to him about the marriage proposal beforehand.

"We talked about is a couple times," he said.

Billy even told ET Canada that Liam is a great guy and that he likes him a lot!

Awww!

Miley's dad also opened up to People about how happy she is and that if she's happy, he's happy.

"The main thing for me is that both of them are happy," he said. "Miley's worked really hard, and I'm enjoying right now seeing her so happy."

We all know Miley's dad has had a huge impact on her career and her life, so it makes sense that Liam included him in on the marriage proposal idea as well!
