Kellan Lutz stars in Breaking Dawn Part 2, and when we sat down with the Twilight actor recently in Los Angeles, he was definitely getting emotional that the journey is over.
"So much mixed emotion," Kellan told Cambio about how he was feeling. "You're happy it's done, I'm satisfied because it's my favorite movie out of the bunch, but you get affected. It's been a journey. It's been a large, influential part of your life that I don't think anything will ever match up to."
One reason this was Kellan's favorite movie? His character Emmett finally got to arm wrestle Bella (Kristen Stewart).
"Kristen was having so much fun playing vampiric Bella that it was great seeing that side of her," Kellan told us about what it was like finally filming that scene. "She sent Emmett to acting classes to learn how to fake lose. I loved having that one on one time with her."
Another moment fans are hearing a lot about is the "twist ending" of the final film.
"We stuck to the book," Kellan assures those who might be worried. "We embellished a bit, but we didn't necessarily change anything."
"Life flies by so fast, it's nice to have these in movie form so you can always look back at it," Kellan continued about the end of The Twilight Saga. "It's like high school, I lost my yearbook, but these will be timeless."
So would he be open to reprising his role of Emmett Cullen in the future?
"I'd love to show some more backstory or show more of the relationship between Rosalie and Emmitt, so I'd definitely come back."
Breaking Dawn Part 2 hits theaters on November 16.
