Jennifer Lawrence may be generating Oscar buzz for her performance in Silver Linings Playbook, but the successful actress has a hard time being proud of her performances.
"I'm my own worst critic," the already Oscar nominated actress revealed.
Because of that when asked what she was most proud of business-wise this year, Jennifer couldn't come up with an answer. So what would her parents say was their proudest moment?
"At the Toronto Film Festival for the Silver Linings Playbook premiere," Jennifer told EW. "I couldn't sit with them because I had to sit with the cast. I went out first [afterwards] and then I saw them and my Dad had tears in his eyes. I've never seen my Dad with tears in his eyes, ever."
"My first thought was that someone hurt him or something! 'What's happened to my Dad?' My mom was crying too but she always cries," Jennifer revealed. "They were really proud. That was probably the one moment I allowed myself to feel good and proud. 'Okay, Mommy and Daddy are happy. They're proud of me. This is awesome.'"
Maybe when Golden Globe nominations come out in a few weeks Jennifer will start to believe her own hype!
